A message from Sara Tamblyn

As a mother and a member of a close knit community I know how important stability is for healthy families. My practice is a small firm that specializes in cohesive family law solutions. My associates and I bring different strengths and legal expertise to our clients: debt resolution, traditional divorce and child based legal matters. We pride ourselves in our commitment to building a strong attorney-client relationship. We are accessible and flexible to best represent our client’s needs.

Sara Tamblyn (Seattle University School of Law, 1998)

Sara has been practicing family law since graduating from Seattle University School of Law in 1998. She is highly experienced and offers a strong yet compassionate representation to her clients. Tamblyn Law, PLLC offers customized legal services to fit the needs of all clients. Early on Sara realized her family law clients often have legal issue resting outside of the customary family law practice- clients are often dealing with debt issues and domestic violence.

She founded this practice with the belief that one firm can handle all clients’ needs by hiring a team of attorneys that have strengths in other legal areas. The attorneys at Tamblyn Law are experienced, successful, and here to help.

Douglass R Brown (Willamette University College of Law, 2002)

Douglass Brown received his batcher’s degree from University of Washington in 1997. He majored in criminal justice and minored in political science.

Always interested in the law, he applied to Willamette University of Law in 1999 and graduated in the top-third of his class in 2002. During his law school studies, he focused primarily on business classes.

After graduating law school, he worked at a creditor rights law firm for about a year collecting debts on behalf of fortune 500 companies. Growing restless and wanting to protect the rights of individuals, he started working for a law firm that put the rights of individuals before business. During the time with that law firm, he was exposed to a wide variety of legal topics and problems. He reviewed and counseled individuals on their civil, family, and bankruptcy issues.

It is through these experiences that he is able to effectively counsel you on a wide variety of issues and will allow you to draw on these experiences from one attorney, rather than multiple attorneys versed in specific disciples.

He spends his leisure time with family and his two dogs.
